It is pretty exciting to be part of a vibrant community of gardeners, homesteaders, winemakers, foodies, fitness gurus, and other folks! I am so excited to continue to interact with you and share new ideas and projects. This is pretty cool considering smallscalegardening.com did not exist until April of 2014. am very thankful for all of you, and I hope to continue to grow with you.
In case you are new to Small Scale Gardening, we are all about using our resources to maximize our small spaces to grow food, preserve your harvest and make some wine. I have really enjoyed the journey, meeting people on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and all the other social media out there.
Speaking of social media, did you know that Small Scale Gardening is almost everywhere? Feel free to check all of the Small Scale Gardening in the social media world in the following places:
I really have to thank Larry Hall, Michael Ryder, Bren (@BG_garden) and the #gardenchat folks, and of course all of you fun 500+ followers on Twitter and social media. I look forward to all the good conversation, collaboration and fun with you.
I also have to thank Rick van Vliet for all his honey and technical help. He helped me out with this blog (and other technical work) and took me on my first Small Scale Gardening adventure to his hives in 2013. His bees produce excellent honey, which in turn makes excellent mead. I will be starting and posting articles about the 2014 mead project soon; I have to finish the Dragon’s Blood and Pinot Noir wine projects first!
I have to say a special thanks to Julie (@juliasblooms) who is my wonderful wife and has given me so many great ideas. You are so supportive, inspirational and awesome!
Thank you again for checking in and participating. Let’s grow this together and have some fun!
